Job Summary
Conduct special inspections and perform construction materials testing for code compliance across active job sites in Reno, Nevada. Write clear daily field reports, sample and transport materials, and coordinate directly with clients and contractors. This full-time, hourly role requires NAQTC certification and ACI certification for the higher pay tier, with mandatory overtime and night/weekend availability. The position offers $30–$38/hour with time-and-a-half overtime, plus reimbursements and bonuses for certification growth.
Required Qualifications
- NAQTC certification
- 2+ years of inspection experience working under your certs
- Able to work outdoors in all conditions on active construction sites
- Team player with strong communication skills and a professional attitude
- Reliable — ready to commit to a full schedule and show up for the crew
- 5–6 days per week
- overtime is mandatory
- must be available to work nights and/or weekends as projects require
- Field-based, outdoor work in a fast-paced construction environment
