Job Summary
Perform special inspections in accordance with ICC requirements and project specifications; observe and document construction activities for compliance with approved plans and codes; prepare accurate inspection reports and maintain detailed documentation; communicate deficiencies, safety concerns, and compliance issues to management; coordinate with contractors, engineers, and project teams; maintain professionalism while working in active construction environments. ICC certifications required; strong reporting abilities and communication skills; proficient in Microsoft Office and reporting systems; ability to address non-compliant work and report concerns; valid driver’s license preferred. This position is hourly nonexempt at $25.00/hour with overtime eligible; PTO for full-time employees; medical benefits after 60 days; company-provided vehicle, gas card, and laptop.
Required Qualifications
- ICC certifications required
- Strong understanding of construction methods and inspection procedures
- Computer savvy with proficiency in Microsoft Office and reporting systems
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable addressing non-compliant work and reporting concerns when necessary
- Ability to articulate field observations clearly and professionally
- Valid driver’s license preferred
