Job Summary
Complete assigned inspections as scheduled by dispatch, reviewing and submitting reports according to NYS DOB code and approved drawings. Perform all other duties as assigned, including preparing and electronically submitting daily reports. Maintain punctuality and reliability while traveling numerous job sites daily with a valid driver's license. The role requires ICC Commercial or Residential certification and familiarity with the New York City Building Code. Candidates must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Work is performed on a 7am-3:30pm schedule with the ability to work various shifts.
Required Qualifications
- ICC Commercial or Residential Certification
- Ability to read prints and find inspection locations
- Ability to produce inspection reports according to company standards
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Reliable means of transportation
- Extensive knowledge of industry standards
- Punctuality
- Reliability with good attention to detail
- Ability to work various shifts
- Ability to travel numerous job sites daily
- Highly motivated team player with a strong work ethic
- Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of project managers
- Organized and efficient
- Authorization to work in the U.S.
- Valid driver license
- Familiarity with the New York City Building Code
- Ability to perform all other duties as assigned by your supervisor or manager
Desired Qualifications
- Technical, Associate's, or Bachelor's Degree pertaining to the Engineering field (Civil, Mechanical, Environmental, etc.)
