Job Summary
Attend Basic and advanced training, complete the ASVAB, and undergo background and medical screening to become a member of one of the most highly skilled combat forces in the world. Your specialty will be decided on your background, aptitude, and the needs of the Army, potentially serving as a weapons sergeant using light and heavy infantry tactics, an engineer sergeant specializing in construction and demolition, a medical sergeant providing first-response trauma care, or a communications sergeant operating encrypted satellite and radio systems.
