Special Float Pool - Clinical Nurse

Provides direct patient care activities including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards; promotes patient and family-centered care in a healing environment; educates patients and families on illness management and post-treatment home care; participates in patient safety, quality and regulatory compliance; contributes to professional development; develops and documents individualized plans of care with defined goals in collaboration with the interprofessional team and family; ensures effective communication of the plan across the continuum of care; applies critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, including cultural and population-specific considerations; recognizes this is a safety-sensitive position and requires constant alertness and safe practice; role supports the BJC RN Career Ladder and hospital-wide nursing excellence.
