Job Summary
Contribute to program development, arrange entertainment, and execute public and private events on and off property at Live! Casino & Hotel. Handle patron questions and complaints promptly while ensuring all interactions remain professional and courteous. Assist in tracking and analyzing marketing programs to increase casino revenues, and complete reports, database entries, and correspondence to meet established deadlines. Manage third-party event planning and execution on-site, ensuring projects meet timelines and stay within budget. Work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays, adhering to all company policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications
- 21 years of age or over
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing and/or Entertainment based field preferred or equivalent in professional experience required
- Exposed to alcohol, cigarette and cigar smoke, bright lights, and loud noises
- You will be exposed to an alcohol and smoking environment and must be able to work in such environment
- Must have the ability to secure and maintain licensure as required by Virginia Gaming Control Board or any other applicable regulatory entity as may be required to perform assigned duties, or as required by Live's operating standards
- Ability to work a flexible and irregular schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays
- Ability to stand 75% of the time
- Ability to sit 25% of the time
- Able to lift 50 lbs
- Use of stairs and elevators
Desired Qualifications
- Event planning, VIP Services and general hosting experience preferred
- Must be proficient in the full suite of Microsoft Office products
