Job Summary
Directs and oversees the primary fundraising events of Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Oklahoma City, including Green Tie Gala and other regional events. Responsibilities include event planning and budgeting, sponsorship and in-kind donation solicitation, volunteer management, vendor relations, coordinating marketing materials and campaigns, data-entry and reporting in fundraising software, donor prospecting and cultivation, collaboration with internal teams and external partners, and ensuring timely recording of information in accordance with policies. May supervise volunteers; requires strong donor relations, event logistics, and ability to travel and work flexible hours. Proficiency with OneCause Fundraising Platform, Raiser’s Edge, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations, Communication, Business or related field
- 2-4 years of event management and fundraising experience
- Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred
- Experience with OneCause Fundraising Platform is preferred
- Combination of education and experience may be considered
- Ability to solicit gifts for event sponsorships and in-kind donations
- Strong relationship-building with corporate and individual donors
- Knowledge of mission and services of Catholic Charities
- Excellent English usage, spelling, grammar and punctuation
- Ability to evaluate donor contribution trends and giving patterns
- Ability to work with diverse populations
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects with deadlines
- Maintain confidential information
- Autonomy and proactivity
- Familiarity with software: Adobe Creative Suite, OneCause Fundraising Platform, Raiser's Edge, Microsoft Office
- Ability to travel for events (including occasional overnight) and some evenings/weekends
