Job Summary
Conduct market research, collect vendor quotes, and coordinate deliveries for special events. Assist with event setup and strike, acting as an usher, ticket taker, bag checker, or parking attendant. Create staffing matrices, coordinate marketing schedules, and produce brand collateral. Take ownership of ballpark tours, including curriculum research, creation, and execution. Work nights and weekends during the 2026 Fall off-season. This internship offers hands-on training in ticket operations and exposure to TripleSeat, Canva, and Wix within the Asheville Tourists Signature Events department.
Required Qualifications
- Current student studying hospitality, business, marketing, or sports management, receiving college course credit for this internship.
- Ability to lift 50lbs overhead.
- Willingness to learn and take initiative.
Desired Qualifications
- Basic knowledge in Canva and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Basic knowledge in TripleSeat, Wix, and Constant Contact preferred but not required.
