Job Summary
Special Educator EI/SEIS/EVALS-Putnam in Putnam County, NY provides individualized lessons targeting IFSP/IEP goals for Early Intervention and Preschool programs. Responsibilities include developing creative, multi-sensory lessons aligned to IFSP/IEP goals, collecting data and reporting progress quarterly, communicating with supervisors and multidisciplinary teams, attendance and electronic billing, attending professional development trainings, maintaining professionalism with parents and teachers, and attending IEP/IFSP meetings. CPSE evaluations involve comprehensive clinic/home/preschool assessments, writing detailed evaluation reports, collaborating with families and the evaluation team, and developing functional goals. Requires NYS Students with Disabilities B-Grade 2 Certification; minimum of 1 year experience preferred; bilingual preferred. Compensation ranges: EI $64-$70/hour; Preschool $60/hour; benefits available for full-time and part-time roles. Schedule includes day, evening, and weekend opportunities with both full-time and fee-for-service options.
