Job Summary
Support SPED program by supervising and assisting students with special needs in a dual-language Tewa/English environment; implement interventions per individual education plans; collaborate with SPED Teacher and Director of Instruction to ensure services are met; be highly organized and comfortable working with special needs students; follow Pueblo core values and Indian Preference Act considerations; background check required; education path includes an Associate's Degree or equivalent experience; NM Education Assistant Licensure preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Elementary Education or related field
- Equivalent experience or education considered in lieu of degree
- NM Education Assistant Licensure preferred
- Knowledge of Pueblo customs and Tewa language not required but preferred
- Background check required
