Job Summary
Assist students with disabilities in Taft 7-12 under the direction of the teacher to help them achieve IEP goals. Provide classroom support, facilitate individual and group instruction, assist with transitions and activities, support alternative communication methods, supervise and assist with behavior modification plans, and help with physical or medical needs (e.g., lifting, positioning, diapering, feeding, catheterization) as directed. Perform clerical tasks related to IEP meetings, data entry, and record-keeping; coordinate with staff and communicate with parents regarding student progress. Requires compliance with safety standards and completion of fingerprint/background check; starting pay $21.43-$23.65/hour with benefits.

- Fingerprint and background check required
- Able to assist with medical tasks including diapering, catheterization and other duties as delegated by district nurse or supervisor
