Job Summary
Special Education Teaching Assistant to support certified staff in classrooms, reinforce reading/language arts/mathematics/computer instruction, assist with administering tests, support individual/small-group instruction, help with record-keeping, behavioral management, supervise non-instructional activities (lunch, bus, playground, study hall), accompany students on field trips, assist with materials, and help maintain student confidentiality and inclusive learning environments helpful for students with disabilities and IEP objectives.
Required Qualifications
- Agree to become highly qualified upon hiring as per attachment
- Less than 12 month term
- 3.5 Hours per day
- Starting Hourly Rate Placement: $17.74-19.54 based on experience
- An additional $1 per hour paid through referendum funds
