Job Summary
Special Education Teacher responsible for developing and implementing IEPs in compliance with Massachusetts regulations, planning and delivering standards-based instruction, supporting MTSS with progress monitoring and interventions, collaborating with families and colleagues, participating in IEP and eligibility meetings, and promoting an inclusive, safe, and engaging classroom environment. Professional responsibilities include assessment, data documentation, communication with parents, involvement in professional development, and co-teaching with general education staff as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
- Massachusetts Teaching License for applicable grade level and subject area
- SEI endorsement required
