Job Summary
Full-time Special Education Teacher of Students with Disabilities at Caesar Rodney High School, to lead a Vocational Studies program for grades 9-12. Responsibilities include delivering specialized instruction in vocational English, math, writing, and job/life skills; ensuring compliance with state certification requirements and PRAXIS II scoring or equivalent; collaborating with colleagues to implement the curriculum; supporting students to become self-sufficient and active community members. Requires State of Delaware Special Education certification with a secondary content area (ELA, Math, or Science) and adherence to pre-employment requirements (transcripts, resume, recommendations, background check, TB test, I-9, and Child Protection Registry). Required Qualifications
- State of Delaware certification for Special Education Teacher of Students with Disabilities
- Secondary content area certification in ELA, Math, or Science
