Job Summary
Special Education Teacher in Dallas, TX, delivering individualized instruction and collaborating with school teams to support students with diverse learning needs. Responsibilities include implementing and managing IEPs, delivering specialized instruction, adapting curriculum for accessibility and inclusion, monitoring progress with data, supporting academic, social, and emotional development, utilizing assistive technology, collaborating with general education teachers and families, participating in ARD/IEP meetings, and maintaining accurate documentation. Requires Bachelor’s in Special Education or related field and valid Texas Special Education certification; Master’s degree is preferred. On-site, school-based opportunities serving Pre-K through High School with flexible full- or part-time placements; bi-weekly pay and benefits available.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field
- Valid Texas Special Education teaching certification
- Strong understanding of IEP processes and special education services
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Master’s degree preferred
- School-based experience is a plus
