Special Education Teacher

Special Education Teacher works with students who have a wide range of socioemotional and mental health needs and/or learning disabilities, develops and provides specialized instruction to meet individual student needs, and functions as IEP Manager. The role involves collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team of educators, counselors, and social workers, developing and implementing IEPs, monitoring progress, coordinating services, mentoring other teachers, meeting with parents and administrators, and ensuring district/state reporting. This is a full-time, 10-month position based in Reading, PA, with classroom instruction and direct student support across various settings (classroom, small groups, and one-on-one).
