Job Summary
Lead and coordinate individualized student programs for eight 12- to 15-year-old learners with disabilities in a RIDE-approved classroom. Develop and monitor IEP goals, design structured learning environments, and schedule daily programming while collaborating closely with behavior specialists, therapists, families, and support staff. Ensure accurate and timely completion of student and staff documentation to foster a culture supporting learning, communication, and positive behavior.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field
- Rhode Island Department of Education certification in Severe/Profound Special Education
- CPR/First Aid Certification
- Safety Care Training

- Master's degree
- At least one year of experience as a special education teacher
