Special Education Teacher (TCCHS)

Conduct individualized instruction for students with moderate to severe disabilities, implementing IEP objectives and utilizing innovative teaching techniques across life goal domains. Evaluate student progress through pre- and post-tests, compile case history data, and collaborate with parents and related service providers to develop educational programs. Coordinate community-based instruction and vocational training opportunities while maintaining orderly classroom and out-of-classroom environments. Supervise instructional assistants, monitor cumulative files including due process documentation, and participate in faculty meetings and school-wide decision-making committees. Adhere to Federal, State, and Local policies regarding students with disabilities.
