Job Summary
Implement district learning goals and objectives aligned with state frameworks, providing small-group instruction and inclusion support to students with moderate to severe cognitive delays. Write and implement goals consistent with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) while delivering timely progress reports and necessary accommodations for student learning and testing. Collaborate with building staff to support other teachers in responding to student needs for modification, ensuring curriculum development and work analysis for MCAS Alternative Assessment progress. This role reports to the Building Principal at Linden School within Malden Public Schools, a diverse district committed to culturally responsive practices and rigorous instruction for all learners.
Required Qualifications
- DESE licensed in Moderate Disabilities PreK-8
- SEI Teacher Endorsement
