Job Summary
Special Education Teacher targeted to support students with diverse learning needs in a hybrid model serving Juneau, AK. Responsibilities include developing and implementing individualized instructional plans to enhance communication and language development, collaborating with fellow Special Educators and school professionals, regularly monitoring progress, maintaining open communication with students’ families and staff, and pursuing ongoing professional development. The role blends remote services with periodic on-site visits (2–4 times per year, 2–3 weeks per visit) within the Juneau School District, with travel expenses covered. Qualifications include a BA/BS or higher in Special Education (Master's preferred) and current state certification; strong teamwork, communication, and commitment to student growth are essential. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or a related field
