Plan and implement instruction aligned to Iowa Core and district-identified priority standards; evaluate student progress using formative and summative assessments; promote a positive learning climate; collaborate in Professional Learning Communities; supervise special education associates and volunteers; use data-driven, researched-based instructional strategies; communicate assessment methods and student progress to parents; prepare substitutes and maintain documentation; participate in parent-teacher conferences; pursue ongoing professional growth; establish an inclusive classroom community and adapt instruction to meet diverse student needs; respond to district policies and maintain required reports and paperwork.
