Job Summary

Adapt general education lessons in reading, writing, and math for students with disabilities, while teaching literacy and communication skills to those with severe needs. Conduct initial screenings and comprehensive evaluations, then participate in IEP processes to develop goals and treatment recommendations. Collaborate with school staff and families to address educational deficits, providing sessions based on IEP-prescribed services. Maintain all required documentation, including monthly summaries and annual IEPs. Serve a caseload of 10–15 students across elementary and high school levels in Easton, MD, starting August.

Required Qualifications

  • Must be certified Special Education Teacher in the state of Maryland
  • Have successful experience working with culturally diverse families
