Job Summary
Special Education Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. Provide specialized instruction to special education students, develop or modify curricula, and prepare lessons aligned to student abilities. Work in self-contained, team, departmental, or itinerant capacity; collaborate with ARD/IEP processes to set goals and monitor progress. Knowledge of ARD committee procedures, IEP goal setting, and curriculum/instruction. Maintain emotional control under stress; assist with lifting/positioning students with physical disabilities; may use physical restraints; exposure to biological hazards. Must have a Bachelor’s degree and Texas teaching certificate with appropriate endorsements. Exempt wage, 187 days, pay grade 60, reports to Campus Principal.”,
