Job Summary
Special Education Teacher position at St. Boni Education Center in St. Bonifacius, MN, for the 2026-27 school year, full-time (8 hours/day, 185 contract days). Educate, plan, teach, facilitate, and evaluate students identified as having a disability; educate and support students to increase academic, social/behavioral, communication, and study skills under the direction of the teacher(s). Responsibilities include direct instruction, planning, and collaboration with teams; CPI and restrictive procedures training are provided by the District to support classroom management and safety.
Required Qualifications
- CPI training and restrictive procedures required
- Strong classroom management skills
- Experience with multiple instructional designs and differentiated instruction
- Ability to build successful relationships with students, parents and staff
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with teams
- EBD, DCD, ASD, or ABS licensure preferred; Tier 2 License Eligible
Desired Qualifications
- EBD, DCD, ASD, or ABS licensure preferred; Tier 2 License eligible
