Job Summary
Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with IEPs and state standards for a 4th/5th grade special education classroom with a maximum of 12 students. Deliver differentiated instruction to meet diverse student needs while fostering a positive, structured, and inclusive environment. Monitor student progress, maintain required documentation, and collaborate with families, administrators, and related service providers. Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team meetings. This role includes a dedicated Behavior Health Worker to assist with behavioral and instructional needs. Full-time, school-year assignment for the 2026–207 school year with opportunities for future placements.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Pennsylvania Special Education Teaching Certification
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
- Current PA clearances
- Experience teaching elementary-aged students
- Strong classroom management skills
- Strong communication skills
