Job Summary
Special Education Teacher responsible for delivering on-site educational services to adolescent program participants within a cognitive retraining and educational setting, coordinating carry-over strategies with the cognitive/trans-disciplinary team, attending weekly clinical team meetings, completing documentation (service summaries, reports, billing slips) timely, supervising and implementing curriculum, developing methods to evaluate student progress, meeting with parents and students for guidance, implementing classroom policy and procedures, and attending mandatory trainings; role supports Sevita's NeuroRestorative program and involves collaboration with agency, school, and community partners.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Special Education
- One year of experience in classroom or tutorial settings; experience with special education preferred.
