Job Summary
Create and execute Individualized Education Plans (IEP) for students in Kinder-2nd grade, preparing detailed lesson plans for administrator approval. Communicate with staff and families regarding student progress, invite family participation in educational updates, and distribute quarterly progress reports. Participate in scheduled IEP meetings, confer with on-site therapists on behavioral issues, and use individualized reinforcement techniques to support learning. Maintain a safe, productive classroom environment while applying for the role requires a Bachelor's degree, Special Education Certificate, and relevant experience. Pediatric Developmental Services partners with public districts and charter schools to provide highly qualified teachers and therapists.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
- Special Education Certificate (according to TX Department of Education requirements)
