Job Summary
Lead a special education classroom self-contained, develop and implement IEPs aligned to state standards, manage PBIS and behavior tracking, supervise paraprofessionals, attend and lead IEP meetings, assess student progress toward IEP goals, collaborate with families and related service providers, and support implementation of assistive technology and augmentative communication devices.
Required Qualifications
- Arizona Department of Education Standard Professional Special Education Teaching Certificate
- Bachelor's degree
- IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
Desired Qualifications
- Master’s in special education
- 2–5 years working with students with learning and/or social-emotional needs
- Experience implementing curriculum and behavior interventions
- Proficiency with IEP documentation systems (e.g., IEP pro)
