Job Summary
Special Education Teacher for a Moderate-Intensive classroom needed to develop and implement IEPs, provide differentiated instruction in one-on-one, small group, and inclusive settings, adapt lesson plans and curriculum to diverse learning needs, assess progress with data-driven decisions, collaborate with general education teachers and therapists, participate in IEP meetings, student evaluations, and parent-teacher conferences, maintain documentation per Ohio Department of Education and IDEA regulations, and implement behavioral intervention plans to promote student engagement. Position details include February 2026 through June 2026, 8:00 am–4:00 pm schedule, and 40 hours per week with contract-based terms. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Special Education from an accredited program
- Valid Ohio teaching license with Special Education endorsement (Intervention Specialist - Moderate-Intensive)
- Experience with IEP development and implementation
