Job Summary
Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) to support students with disabilities, adapting lesson plans and instructional strategies for diverse learning needs. Provide differentiated instruction in one-on-one, small group, and inclusive classroom settings while assessing student progress through data-driven decision-making. Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and support staff to ensure student success, participate in IEP meetings and parent conferences, and maintain accurate documentation compliant with South Carolina Department of Education regulations. Implement behavioral intervention plans to promote engagement. Requires a Bachelor's or Master's in Special Education, SC Educator Certificate, and experience with IEPs; hourly rate $41.00–$53.00.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Special Education from an accredited program
- South Carolina Educator Certificate in Special Education (issued by the South Carolina Department of Education – SCDE)
- Experience with IEP development and implementation
- Fingerprint Clearance & Background Check
