Job Summary
Special Education Teacher position focusing on resource instruction for K-8 with a caseload of 30-40 students. Demands include developing and implementing IEPs, differentiating instruction in varied settings, adapting lessons for diverse learners, monitoring progress with data-driven decisions, collaborating with educators and specialists, participating in IEP meetings and conferences, and maintaining compliant documentation under CDE and IDEA guidelines. Requires a Colorado Special Education Endorsement and fingerprint background clearance. Hourly pay range $43-$52, with contracts up to 40 hours per week; benefits include PTO, holidays,401(k) match, professional development reimbursement, and classroom-material reimbursements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Special Education from an accredited program
- Colorado Teaching License with Special Education Endorsement (issued by the Colorado Department of Education)
- Experience with IEP development and implementation
- Fingerprint Clearance & Background Check required
