Job Summary
Special Education Teacher for high school students. Provide a core program using a district-approved curriculum, plan curriculum/lessons/teaching methods, and create a conducive learning environment. Ensure student safety and support administration in policy implementation. Assess students per IEP and/or 504 plans with 1:1 or small-group instruction as needed, and collaborate with the special education team to support instructional and behavioral needs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
- Must have a valid state Arizona special education teaching credential
