Job Summary
Special Education Teacher responsible for developing IEPs, providing differentiated instruction in varied settings, adapting lesson plans, assessing progress with data-driven decision-making, collaborating with teachers and staff, participating in IEP meetings and evaluations, maintaining PDE/IDEA-compliant records, and implementing BIPs and classroom management strategies in a Pennsylvania school setting.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Special Education from an accredited program.
- Pennsylvania Instructional I or Instructional II Teaching Certificate in Special Education (issued by the Pennsylvania Department of Education – PDE).
- Experience with IEP development and implementation.
- Fingerprint Clearance & Background Check required.
