Job Summary
Special Education Teacher needed to develop and implement IEPs, provide differentiated instruction in one-on-one, small group, and inclusive classroom settings, adapt lesson plans and curricula to diverse learning needs, monitor progress with data-driven decisions, collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and support staff, participate in IEP meetings and parent-teacher conferences, maintain records per PDE/IDEA regulations, and implement behavioral intervention plans (BIPs) and effective classroom management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Special Education from an accredited program
- Pennsylvania Instructional I or Instructional II Teaching Certificate in Special Education (issued by the Pennsylvania Department of Education – PDE)
- Experience with IEP development and implementation
- Fingerprint Clearance & Background Check required
