Job Summary
Deliver specialized instruction to a caseload of 7-10 students with disabilities; develop and implement IEPs, provide differentiated instruction in one-on-one, small group, and inclusive settings; adapt lessons and assess progress using data-driven decisions; collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and staff; participate in IEP meetings, evaluations, and parent-teacher conferences; maintain records per CDE/IDEA; implement BIPs and classroom management; start ASAP with contract through May 22, 2026; compensation is hourly ($45-$58) with potential up to 40 hours/week and paid holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Special Education from an accredited program
- Colorado Teaching License with Special Education Endorsement (issued by the Colorado Department of Education)
- Experience with IEP development and implementation
- Fingerprint Clearance & Background Check required
