Job Summary
Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with disabilities while adapting lesson plans and instructional strategies to meet diverse learning needs. Provide differentiated instruction in one-on-one, small group, and inclusive classroom settings, and assess student progress using data-driven decision-making. Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and support staff, and participate in IEP meetings, student evaluations, and parent-teacher conferences. Implement behavioral intervention plans and maintain accurate records in compliance with Colorado Department of Education and IDEA guidelines. Hourly rate ranges from $41.00 to $58.00 per hour with up to 40 hours per week.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Special Education from an accredited program
- Colorado Teaching License with Special Education Endorsement (issued by the Colorado Department of Education)
- Experience with IEP development and implementation
- Fingerprint Clearance & Background Check required
