Job Summary
Special Education Teacher in a full-time Bilingual Resource Room role for the school year. Responsibilities include developing and implementing IEPs for students with disabilities, providing differentiated instruction in one-on-one, small group, and inclusive classroom settings, adapting lesson plans and curriculum to meet diverse learning needs, assessing and monitoring student progress with data-driven decision-making, collaborating with general education teachers, therapists, and support staff, participating in IEP meetings, student evaluations, and parent-teacher conferences, maintaining records in compliance with CDE and IDEA guidelines, and implementing behavioral intervention plans (BIPs) and effective classroom management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Special Education from an accredited program
- Colorado Teaching License with Special Education Endorsement (issued by the Colorado Department of Education)
- Experience with IEP development and implementation
- Fingerprint Clearance & Background Check required
