Job Summary
Special Education Teacher positions for K-2 self-contained, Preschool, and 7th/8th grade resource roles. Provide core Specialized Education services using a district-approved curriculum; plan curriculum, lessons, and programs; create a conducive learning environment; protect students and materials; assist administration with policies; develop classroom behavior rules; assess student abilities and provide instructional/behavioral support per IEP and/or 504 plans, 1:1 or in small groups as needed. Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree and a valid Arizona special education teaching credential.
