Job Summary
Conduct inclusive special education instruction for early childhood (3-5 year olds) with IEPs in full-day classes of eight students or provide resource support and pullout services for elementary students with behavior needs. Manage AM/PM sessions with a combined caseload of approximately 16 students, ensuring licenses cover the appropriate age groups. Requires a valid Maryland Special Education Teaching License, supplemental certification, and at least three years of experience. US citizenship is mandatory.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Maryland Special Education Teaching License and supplemental certification
- US CITIZEN
- MUST HAVE MARYLAND TEACHING LICENSE
- Min 3 years exp as a Special Education Teacher
- Must be from either elementary or early childhood school setting
- Check on Supplementary license- age group wise
- Timings 9:30-4/9-3:30
Desired Qualifications
- 3+ years experience preferred
- For Early Childhood would prefer someone with a more extensive background working with that age group but not required
