Job Summary
Special Education Teacher- Resource (SLD) for the 2026-2027 school year at Boeckman Middle School. The licensed teacher develops and provides specialized instruction for students with disabilities, evaluates student progress against objectives, follows state due process procedures, and functions as IEP Manager for assigned students. Requires a B.A./B.S. in teaching in special education, and a current Minnesota teaching license in the required content area. 1.0 FTE (full-time) position starting 8/24/2026 with benefits described in the collective bargaining agreement.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum B.A/B.S degree in teaching from an accredited institution in the appropriate special education area.
- Current Minnesota teaching license in required content area.
- Thorough knowledge of the principles, practices and procedures of special education and specialty area.
