Job Summary
Conduct formal and informal assessments of educational programs and behavior interventions while administering curriculum-based and standardized assessments. Implement and adhere to IFSP/IEP/Student Program plans, differentiating learning based on individual student needs and goals. Prepare for and attend all pertinent pre IEP and IEP conferences, ensuring health, safety, and welfare of students. Supervise Teaching Assistants in implementing educational programs and behavior intervention plans, and meet with parents to provide progress overviews. This role supports children and adults with autism in achieving greater independence through person-centered services.
Required Qualifications
- NYS Certified Special Education Teacher
- Internship Certificate
- NY State certification (Students with Disabilities/1-6, 7-12)

- Experience with ASD
- Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strategies
