Job Summary
Provide special education classroom services to K-12 students at a local intermediate unit during the 2026-2027 school year. Deliver instruction and support aligned with principles of effective teaching for students with disabilities while maintaining a full-time, normal school day schedule. Collaborate within a small team across various programs to develop skills and create targeted programs or trainings in areas of interest. Partner with families and school districts to ensure positive impacts on individual well-being and community outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education or related field
- Must have an active Teaching Certificate in Special Education
- Current clearances (within 6 months)
Desired Qualifications
- A minimum of one-year experience working with special education students is highly preferred
- Thorough knowledge of the principles and methodology of effective teaching of students with disabilities
