Job Summary
Consult and collaborate with school staff and families regarding students' educational deficits. Conduct initial screenings and comprehensive evaluations, then participate in the IEP process to develop present levels of performance, goals, objectives, and treatment recommendations. Provide Special Education sessions using current best practices based on prescribed services in the IEP. Maintain all required documentation, including notes, monthly summaries, and annual IEPs. This full-time role in Cicero, IL, supports academic and functional success for grades 4th–6th within a collaborative pediatric therapy team.
Required Qualifications
- Must hold a current license to practice in the state of Illinois
- Must hold a current PEL and LBS1
- Have successful experience working with culturally diverse families
