Job Summary
Create and execute Individualized Education Plans (IEP) for students in your care, preparing detailed lesson plans for administrator approval. Communicate regularly with staff and family members regarding student progress and struggles, while participating in scheduled IEP meetings. Use individualized reinforcement techniques to support student development and invite family participation in educational progress. Confer with on-site therapists on disciplinary and behavioral issues, ensuring a safe, productive classroom environment. Submit quarterly progress reports to track outcomes. This role supports PDS's mission to provide highly qualified teachers and therapists to public school districts, charter schools, and communities, partnering with schools to make a difference in children's lives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in a relevant field
- State Certification
- Experience working with K-12 children
