Special Education Teacher responsible for planning, organizing and presenting instruction and instructional environments to support students' educational and social development. Responsibilities include managing instructional time and student behavior, presenting lessons clearly with objectives, monitoring student performance, providing timely feedback, facilitating instruction aligned with curricular goals, interacting with students, colleagues, parents, and community, and performing non-instructional duties. The role requires licensure/certification as a teacher in North Carolina.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in education or in a related area that will qualify for licensure as a teacher by the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction.
