Job Summary
Special Education Teacher to provide high-quality classroom instruction within a therapeutic environment for adolescents in grades 6-12. Responsibilities include planning, developing and implementing lessons tailored to student needs, implementation of IEPs, assessing student progress, providing instruction across required content areas, and applying creativity to hands-on, experiential learning while collaborating with outside resources and supporting students with diverse mental health and special education needs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in Education or related subject
- NH teaching license or statement of eligibility (SOE) in General Special Education (1900)
- experience working with youth with various mental health and special education needs
