Job Summary
The Special Education Teacher at Minnesota Connections Academy will deliver specially designed instruction to students with special needs, managing virtual instructional programs, and participating in the IEP process. Key responsibilities include developing and monitoring IEPs and 504 plans, providing direct services to students through web-conferencing, and coordinating with the IEP team including parents and related service providers. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Special Education, valid Minnesota certification, strong technology and communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Special Education or related Education Field
- Valid Minnesota PK-12 Special Education certificate
- Successful background checks or clearances, including the Child Abuse History Clearance
