Job Summary
Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) and tailored instructional strategies to meet the diverse needs of students with social-emotional challenges, learning disabilities, or high-functioning autism. Collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive academic, social, emotional, and behavioral support within a highly structured therapeutic environment. Assist students in developing skills necessary to return to less-restrictive settings while ensuring a safe, engaging, and supportive learning experience for kindergarten through age 22. Monday shift runs from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with Tuesday through Friday shifts from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- current teaching licensure in Teacher of Students with Moderate Disabilities K-8 or 5-12
- excellent communication skills, both oral and written
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working in educational settings with students of varying backgrounds, presentations and diagnoses
