Job Summary

Draft and monitor Individualized Education Programs (I.E.P.s) to ensure appropriate implementation in the least restrictive environment. Deliver high-quality Special Education services aligned with local, state, and federal mandates while designing instruction based on student needs and scientifically research-based interventions. Lead the multidisciplinary student team to coordinate clinical and instructional services, establish inclusion plans, and oversee classroom systems for positive social and behavior learning. Provide leadership to instructional staff and present engaging, motivating instruction using formative assessments to gauge progress. Serve as the I.E.P. Case Manager for grades 6 through 12 at the Connecticut River Academy, a Sustainability Studies/Early College magnet school operated by Goodwin University.

  • Bachelor's degree
  • certification in appropriate areas of instruction

  • Experience working with children
  • Ability to lift/restrain students 50 lbs. or higher as needed
