Job Summary
Provide individualized and small-group instruction aligned to students' IEP goals for learners ages 12–21. Co-teach with general education teachers or independently lead a special education classroom, developing and implementing differentiated lessons and instructional strategies. Monitor student progress, maintain accurate documentation, and foster a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment. Collaborate with families, related service providers, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success. This role requires a Bachelor's Degree in Special Education, a valid Professional Educator License with an LBS1 endorsement and Supervisory Endorsement, and experience working with diverse learners. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Special Education, Education or a related field
- Valid Professional Educator License (PEL) with an LBS1 endorsement
- Supervisory Endorsement (required)
- Experience working with diverse learners and students with varying academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
- Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills
